It is now official - I am definitely heading to Malawi in February! I have just got confirmation from Malawi and they want me!!! I will also be working with another volunteer who will be doing the same job as me. She will have just finished a placement in another part of Malawi and decided to stay on. Can only be a positive thing!
I am so busy just now and I'm beginning to tie up loose ends. To start with it was my last night at Brownies for a while. We finished with a District Christmas Party and it was great to see everyone altogether. I will miss having to plan my Wednesday nights.
My pupils as school are about to be told that I won't be back after Christmas which will be strange for them too. I'm just about to complete the forward plan for next term which is also bizarre as I won't be teaching any of it! On a school note, West Lothian have granted me my leave of absence for the year so I can come back to Winchburgh which is a bonus. (I'm ever hopeful that the school will have been inspected by the time I come back!!)
I have a very busy January coming up as I'm on lots of courses in Birmingham and now I have to stay there even longer to complete my MOTORBIKE course! How Funny!
