Decisions, Decisions
Well after the disappointment of Nigeria falling through I was offered 2 new placements.
One was in The Gambia, which is a small West African country just under the Sahara. I would have been living 'up-country' which is away from the touristy destinations and probably have been living in a mud hut with a thatched roof, no electricity or running water! The job sounded good but not sure if I could hack it!!
The other option was a placement in Malawi, in the upper region of the country. I decided to select this option - but beware there is still a possibility of the whole mud hut thing!!! I'll be a CPD facilitator basically going around lots of different schools and regions and providing in-service training to the teachers. Sounds like a good job which will I'm sure be challenging.
Oh one last thing I have to learn how to ride a motorbike!! I'll keep you up-to-date with progress of this......
Caz xx
